Privacy

Pure apps are private by architecture. The short version: we collect no data, because your data never leaves your device.

No data collected

Everything you create in a Pure app is stored locally on your device, in your browser's on-device storage. It is never sent to us, and we run no servers that receive it. There is nothing for us to collect, sell, or hand over.

No accounts

Pure apps require no sign-up and no login. We do not create user identifiers, profiles, or advertising IDs.

No ads, no trackers, no third parties

There are no advertisements, no analytics that identify you, and no third-party scripts. The apps make no cross-origin network requests in their free features and work fully offline.

Your data is portable

Every app lets you export your data in an open format and delete it at any time. Uninstalling an app, or clearing its site data, removes everything from your device.

Optional, encrypted sync

If we ever offer backup or sync between devices, it will be strictly opt-in and end-to-end encrypted — encrypted on your device with keys only you hold, so we could not read your data even if asked. It will never be required to use an app.
